Powhatan Auction Gallery
A benefit auction will be conducted for TC Jones. TC is local Powhatan High School graduate
and was attending his first year at VA Tech when he was injured in a snow boarding accident leaving him paralyzed. A happening like this is devastating enough, but TC and his family need more. The expenses, beyond what the insurance covers, will be a significant strain on the family’s budget.

TC is a close member of our auction family. He is the son of Tom & Kathleen Jones. Tom is a fellow auctioneer and has worked with Carwile Auctions for the past five years.
TC sustained broken C5 and C6 vertebrae in his neck. He was flown to UVA Medical Center, then later transported to Shepherds Center in Atlanta that specializes in spinal cord injuries. TC has no feeling from his chest down and can move his arms but not his fingers. TC is studying computer science and plans to return to Virginia Tech in the fall to finish his degree.
